The Commander and Chief orders U.S. troops out of Syria

With every tweet he makes, he makes history; sometimes, the results are disastrous. The tweet regarding troop, withdrawal from Syria, is one of the worst. It is a good idea to pull troops back from foreign battle but, how you do it is critical; discussions with all parties involved must take place first. The Kurds have been fighting Isis since before the terrorist attack in nine-eleven, they deserve America's support. Over eleven thousand Kurdish soldiers died fighting America's enemies in Syria. They were fighting with American forces for the right to practice their religion on their land. Other factions fighting over the same land denied them fundamental human rights; the United States should not have abandoned them. 

Mr. Trump made the call on his own without consulting with the Pentagon. The United Nations was winning the war against Isis in Syria until the American troops pulled out. No faction is dangerous if it doesn't have power, but any faction is dangerous if it has unlimited control of power. Mr. Trumps' decision to pull our troops out shifted the balance of power to Turkey, Russia, the Assad regime, Isis, and other evil factions. Russia brokered a deal with Turkey; to allow the Kurds one week to get out or be killed, they are now running for their lives. There have been reports that children are freezing to death; there are mass starvation and cases of exposure. The troops have not come home, America gained nothing the Kurds lost everything. 

Russian forces began bombing Syria in 2015, rescuing the Assad regime from collapse. The United Nations has always been about protecting fundamental human rights. The U.S. was there protecting not only our interests but those of the United Nations and the free world. With a relatively small number of troops, American forces were able to keep the aggressors in check. Assad stopped gassing innocent men, women, and children, Turkey was unable to force the Kurds off their land, and Isis was not allowed to grow, that has all changed since the withdrawal. Mr. Trump received no political gain because he was still unable to keep the campaign promise; it seems he has not lost anything as his supporters continue to support him?

The assignation of a high ranking, Iranian official, is not the same as the killing of a known terrorist. Do not believe the explanation given by Secretary of State, Pompeo; it is the one Trump gave him, and it is untrue. When Bush ordered an attack on Iraq on May 19, 2003, they had allies who were on board with the decision. The United Kingdom, Australia, and Poland agreed with the United States.  Misinformation was the basis for the attack. A grave mistake occurred, but it was an honest mistake.  Trump made the decision based on how many votes he could squeeze out of it. Instead of avoiding a war, 

Trump threw America into a war without getting permission from Congress. According to U.S intelligence, General Soleimani did give orders to kill American soldiers. Still, the laws were sanctioned by the Iranian government, which is a Sovereign Nation protected under the international rules of war. If Trump wanted him dead, there should have been a fair trial proving his guilt.  There will be terrible repercussions for American citizens and soldiers because of Trump's ill-advised actions. Trump is under a false illusion that U.S. military forces can protect us. There are soft targets, all around the world, that Iran and its allies can penetrate, American lives will be lost. We must be vigilant because Iran has the capabilities, and our partners do not have our backs.  Soleimani was more valuable alive than dead. The hornet's nest is now active; they will attack, when, where, will be determined by Iran. 

No matter whose side you are on, Democrats or Republicans, Iran or the U.S; it is obvious, killing Soleimani, was a horrific mistake, of nuclear proportions.  What happens next will destroy the Trump administration. There is no way out, it’s check mate, the white king is going down. He is living in fantasy land, next door to an Irish Leprechaun and Peter Pan. He is totally out of touch and still has control of the most powerful nuclear arsenal in the world. Do you really want a man like Trump calling the shots? With his track records it is insane.

Soleimani assignation backfired and blew up in Trump’s face. There is no graceful way The United States, can maintain respect and not kill people. Without respect you have less power, with less power you get less done, in this case we are going backwards. The world is not a safer place, because of Trump’s selfish, decision. Iran is sophisticated, more powerful and has strategic advantage, than most terrorist states. The war on terror is regressing under this administration; the Secretary of State, is knowingly lying to the American people, with a straight face.
